Born in Taunton Somerset, Sye moved to London to study Geo Physics at University College London. The degree course unexpectedly exposed Sye to a range of production techniques, and as he completed the degree, he took another unexpected turn, and moved into post-production. While learning the art of editing in Soho, Sye began shooting mini-documentaries and music videos, and before long had had both directed and edited promos for Brit and Emmy award-winning artists (Paloma Faith, Razorlight, Prodigy) and had documentary work on show at the Victoria and Albert Museum (The Last of Lawrence Corner.) 

Sye has since founded APOSTLE, a production company in Central London, and while predominantly servicing commercial clients, has managed to write, direct, and self-produce BEASTS with RADIOAKTIVEFILM.
